Wellmark Chlorhexidine Pads 50ct

Wellmark Chlorhexidine Pads is a product containing pads soaked with chlorhexidine indicated for local antiseptic use and skin cleansing, as an aid in the treatment of superficial skin conditions of dogs and cats that are responsive to chlorhexidine.

Pyoderma is a common skin condition most often caused by bacterial infection. It often presents with pustules on the skin, which are red, raised bumps filled with white pus. Other signs include dry, flaky skin, itching, and hair loss. Warm, moist areas on the skin such as facial or neck folds, armpits may be at higher risk for skin fold pyoderma.

Yeast dermatitis is very common in dogs and is caused by an abnormal overproduction of the yeast that is normally found on the pet’s skin. Signs and symptoms include itching, redness, musty odor, flaky or scaly skin, changes in skin texture and hair loss.

For topical use on dogs and cats only, apply on affected area.

May be used once or twice a week or as directed by your veterinarian for the specific skin disorder being treated.

Dogs and cats which are hypersensitive to any component of this formulation should not be treated with this product.

For external use only. Should not be swallowed. Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. If contact occurs, rinse throughly with water and consult your veterinarian. Animals should be monitored to prevent licking of the treated area. If skin, eye or mouth irritation develops (redness, hypersalivation), discontinue and consult your veterinarian.

Store in a cool, dry place (15°C-30°C). Do not freeze.
